showcasing technology The SEE-IT project, featuring 19 of Hawaii's top high-technology companies and organizations, debuted Monday at the Hawai'i Convention Center in conjunction with the weeklong Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting. The project is aimed at encouraging Hawaii's youth to pursue careers in the state in science and technology. Peter Crouch, left, co-founder of SEE-IT Hawaii Inc. and dean of the University of Hawaii School of Engineering; Galen Ho, SEE-IT president and a retired BAE Systems executive; and Henk Rogers, SEE-IT co-founder and chairman and CEO of Avatar Reality Inc., talked about the initiative at a press conference.
