Neiman Marcus is hosting a Beauty Event preview from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, with activities at each of its beauty counters.

Shoppers will be able to receive complimentary makeup, skin care consultations, blow-outs and braids, and play the NM Beauty Blitz game for the chance to win a luxury beauty basket.

The event is a warm-up for The Beauty Event running Sept. 8 to 18, when those who purchase $125 or more in cosmetics or fragrances will receive an NM tote filled with samples.
