They left their marks on the men’s volleyball program record book. Now outside hitter Siki Zarkovic and libero Kolby Kanetake finish their careers on Hawaii’s list of All-America honorees.

The two were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America second team on Monday, giving the Rainbow Warriors their 50th and 51st certificates. Both were honorable mentions last season.

Also, two Hawaii prep products were named to the first team — Stanford sophomore libero Evan Enriques (Kamehameha-Hawaii) and UCLA freshman setter-hitter Micah Ma’a (Punahou). Enriques averaged 2.53 digs per set and Ma’a averaged 6.0 assists per set and 2.14 kills per set, hitting .312 with 57 aces.

Zarkovic, a first-team All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation selection this season, ranks ninth nationally in kills per set (4.02 kps). The Serbian national became the 16th Warrior to reach 1,000 kills and finished his career at No. 8 with 1,305 and No. 5 in kill attempts (2,944)

Kanetake, a second-team All-MPSF pick this year, averaged 2.27 digs per set, which ranks 16th nationally and second in the MPSF. The Moanalua High graduate finished third all-time in program history with 775 digs and sixth in dig average (2.34 dps).

The national newcomer of the year is Long Beach State hitter TJ DeFalco. The national player of the year will be announced Wednesday at the NCAA championship banquet at Penn State.
