Service Sunday for local artist
A celebration of life for local muralist and musician Ron Artis has been set for Sunday at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church near the airport.
Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the church, 3950 Paine Circle.
Artis started gasping in his sleep Wednesday morning and was taken to Wahiawa General Hospital, where he died. His family said he apparently had a heart attack. He was 61.
