Locating long-lost lovers is plot of romantic comedy

The Korean romantic comedy "Finding Mr. Destiny" is opening Friday at the Pearlridge multiplex. The film stars heartthrob Gong Yoo ("Coffee Prince," "She’s on Duty" and "Spy Girl") and Im Soo Jung ("Woochi," "I’m A Cyborg," "But That’s OK," "Lump of Sugar" and "Tale of Two Sisters"). Here is the synopsis provided by CJ Entertainment: "Gi-joon (Gong Yoo) starts an agency that helps people locate their long-lost first loves and Ji-woo (Im Soo Jung) becomes his first client. She is dragged there by her worried father who learns that she is still hung up on Kim Jong-wook, a man she fell in love with on her trip to India in her early 20s. After days on end of little success, the agency receives a single phone call of fate. An inquiry from none other than Kim Jong-wook, hoping to find Ji-woo through help from Gi-joon’s agency."

"It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl"
Episode 7

Today, 6:45 p.m.: Ae-ryung marries Jin-gu but she cries at the wedding when she sees her father’s empty chair. Ho-ryung leaves the wedding reception early. Gi-hwan finally regains consciousness and congratulates his daughter on her wedding. Man-su learns that his friend has disappeared with his money. Episode 8 will be shown next week due to a special airing of the Drama Awards at 8 p.m. today.

"Smile, Mom"
Episodes 8 and 9

Tomorrow, 7:45 p.m.: Mo-roo leaves Assemblyman Park and starts working for Assemblyman Jung. With Bomi’s help, Jung thinks he has found a golden egg. Shin-yong fails at damage control. Bomi blackmails Park into not charging Mo-roo with misappropriation of funds. Star Bell, a management company, is aggressive about signing on Dallae, which makes Bok-hee suspicious.

Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Bok-hee finds Dallae unconscious and naked in a hotel room. She fears the worst, but passes it off as nothing when Yeon-woo comes into the room asking questions. Bomi keeps working her magic for Mo-roo, but he thinks that his wife’s the one who helped him. A news report says that Dallae is making an adult film, putting her role in the special in jeopardy.

Episodes 23 and 24

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Taesan proposes the impeachment of President Suh. Citizens who are against the impeachment protest. When more and more people protest against the impeachment, Taesan and Oh Jaebong decide to publicize the danger to Korea caused by the president.

Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Doya suffers from a cerebral hemorrhage, and a doctor recommends he get surgery. Doya, however, decides to leave the hospital to work on Taesan’s case. President Suh assigns Taesan as the presidential envoy to the U.S., but Taesan declines. Doya meets Sejin and asks her about Taesan’s secret account.

Episodes 13 and 14

Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Joo-won tries to tag along when Ra-im and Jong-su go hiking, but he gets left behind. Ra-im finds injured Joo-won on her way down. Joo-won uses his injury as an excuse to make Ra-im stay behind and send the rest of the members back. Ra-im finally gives in and decides to express her feelings for Joo-won.

Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Joo-won is shocked by Ra-im’s appearance at the party when Ra-im makes a splashy entrance. Ra-im tells him she came to the party to see him and that she will never become a mermaid princess. Joo-won’s mom hears about the incident at Joo-won’s party and is outraged.
