Kaikamahine softball has good week
The Kaikamahine 12-and-under girls softball club won both the Cooperstown Classic and Hall of Fame tournaments last week in Cooperstown, N.Y.
Kaikamahine defeated the New Jersey Lady Lightning 5-1 in the championship game of the Classic tournament on July 17, with Kristin Frost named the team’s most valuable player.
Danielle Ford earned MVP honors in the Hall of Fame tournament. Kaikamahine defeated the New Jersey Yellow Jackets 7-2 in that title game on Wednesday.
Both tournaments were played at Diamond Dreams in New York.
