Curran, Veneri headline QB Club

Bobby Curran and John Veneri of KKEA, 1420-AM will be the featured speakers at Monday’s Honolulu Quarterback Club meeting at Maple Garden restaurant.

Curran will do the play-by-play and Veneri will provide color for University of Hawaii football games this season.

Also, Kamehemeha boys volleyball coach Kainoa Downing, state volleyball MVP Micah Christenson from Kamehameha and track and field state champion Kailea Tracy-Visintainer of Seabury Hall will appear.

Lunch is at 11:30 a.m., followed by the noon program. The cost is $15.

UH tickets on sale starting Monday

Individual tickets for University of Hawaii football games go on sale starting Monday. They can be purchased online at HawaiiAthletics.com, at the Stan Sheriff Center box office or by calling 944-2697. Tickets are available at the box office or by phone Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
