Hawaii Pacific defeats Holy Names
Andrea Aguirre scored twice to lead Hawaii Pacific to a 3-1 victory over Holy Names (Oakland, Calif.) in a women’s soccer match last night at Atherton Field.
Sanoe Souza also scored for the Sea Warriors in their season opener, which was also the debut of coach Gina Brewer.
Jacqueline Ho assisted on Aguirre’s second goal.
Brittanie Perez scored for the Hawks.
Hawaii-Hilo stops Alaska Anchorage
Hillary Hurley knocked down 26 kills to lead Hawaii-Hilo to a 25-20, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23 women’s volleyball victory over Alaska Anchorage last night at McCabe Gym.
Jackie Matthisen and Nikkie Viotto had 15 kills each for the Seawolves.
Bryana Kekauoha had 37 assists for the Vulcans (2-0).
