DENNIS ODA / DODA@STARADVERTISER.COM UP THEIR ALLEY: Nick Ventenilla, left, Steve Sue, Alex Ventenilla and Devin Yoshimoto put their thoughts together to build a miniature lemonade stand during an informational workshop Saturday, sponsored by Lemonade Alley at Koko Head District Park Gym. Lemonade Alley is a business plan competition for Hawaii students in kindergarten through grade 12. Organizers helped students plan and construct the mini stand, or anything else made with lemons, and figure out how to sell their product. Then on Nov. 12, they will put up a real stand, and implement their plan and marketing strategy. The event hopes to increase entrepreneurial literacy for the kids while raising funds for the Boy Scout Council of Hawaii and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hawaii.
