Princeville golf links will reopen Dec. 14

Pro surfer presents tours for Turtle Bay
Turtle Bay Resort has enlisted legendary waterman Garrett McNamara, commonly known as "GMAC," to offer guests ocean activities led by the big-wave champion.
"GMAC Experiences" include:
» A tour of famous surfing breaks, including Sunset Beach, Pipeline and Waimea.
» A Jet Ski ride in monster surf as GMAC gets towed into the waves.
» Surfing and stand-up paddling lessons.
» A sunset paddle up the Haleiwa River.

Maps show history of our archipelago
WAILUKU » A traveling exhibit following Hawaii’s history through maps of the islands will be on display at the Bailey House Museum through Oct. 15. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Admission is $7.
Visitors will be able to see the exhibit for free from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 7 as part of Wailuku First Friday festivities.
The museum will host guest speaker Riley Moffat, an authority on Hawaii maps, at 4 p.m. Oct. 8.
