Man allegedly held woman against her will
A 39-year-old Kapiolani-area man was charged and held in lieu of $85,000 bail for allegedly extorting and kidnapping a 24-year-old woman.
Chad A. Castellano, of a Kalakaua Avenue address, was arrested Tuesday for allegedly trying to sexually assault a woman in an Ala Moana area parking lot. The woman reported being held against her will at 2:26 a.m. Tuesday.
Officers found and arrested the suspect at 3:50 a.m.
While he was at the police station, officers arrested Castellano for alleged extortion. The man allegedly threatened Sept. 17 to release intimate videos of the same woman on the Internet if she did not pay him $1,085, police said.
