Man appears in court in 2009 beating
A 26-year-old Coast Guardsman who allegedly robbed and severely beat a taxicab driver in front of Nimitz Gate at Pearl Harbor nearly two years ago appeared in Honolulu District Court this week.
David G. Eisenhour was extradited to Hawaii this week and charged with first-degree assault and first-degree robbery, the city Prosecutor’s Office said.
On Nov. 29, 2009, Eisenhour caught a cab on Keeaumoku Street and was taken to Nimitz Gate, where he was told he owed $33, the Prosecutor’s Office said.
