Pawid and Poljakova lose in semifinals
University of Hawaii tennis players Jamie Pawid and Katarina Poljakova made it to the semifinals Sunday in the USTA/ITA Southwest Regional at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.
Pawid and Poljakova, however, lost to UCLA’s Robin Anderson and Skylar Morton 8-2 in a semifinal match.
UH hoops single-game tickets on sale
Individual game tickets for the upcoming Hawaii men’s and women’s basketball seasons are on sale starting today.
Lower-level tickets for men’s games are set at $26, while the upper level varies depending on age. Adults are $18, senior citizens (ages 65 and over) are $16 and students (ages 4 through high school) are $5.
General admission tickets for UH women’s games are $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and $3 for non-UH students.
UH students get into men’s and women’s games for free with a valid ID, except for the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic, which comes with its own pricing.
For all comers to the eight-team tournament, upper-level packages are $70 and lower-level packages are $90.
The regular season opens Nov. 14 against Cal State Northridge for the Rainbow Warriors, while the Rainbow Wahine open against Hawaii-Hilo on Nov. 11.
