» Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o (Punahou ’09) had 10 tackles, and Robby Toma (Punahou ’09) had a 9-yard reception in a 31-17 loss to Southern California on Saturday.
» Arizona backup quarterback Bryson Beirne (Mid-Pacific ’07) completed two of five passes for 28 yards in the final minutes of the Wildcats’ 48-12 victory over UCLA on Thursday. Defensive end Lamar De Rego (Kamehameha ’09) made a solo tackle as did Bruins safety Dalton Hilliard (Punahou ’09).
» Brigham Young defensive back Travis Uale (Kamehameha ’05) had two tackles and an interception, Aveni Leung-Wai (Aiea ’05) made two tackles, Graham Rowley (Waialua ’10) had two tackles and a pass breakup and Simote Vea (Kahuku ’05) had a tackle for loss to help the Cougars beat Idaho State 56-3 on Saturday. Tight end Kaneakua Friel (Kamehameha ’07) hauled in a 10-yard pass for BYU.
» California junior defensive lineman Aaron Tipoti (Word of Life ’08) made two tackles and forced a fumble in a 34-10 win over Utah on Saturday. Defensive end Tevita Finau (Kahuku ’06) assisted on two tackles for the Utes.
» Stanford defensive end Matt Masifilo (Campbell ’07) made four tackles, including one and a half for loss, in a 65-21 thrashing of Washington on Saturday.
» Oregon linebacker Keloni Kamalani (Kamehameha-Maui ’09) made two solo tackles, including one for loss, in a 45-2 win over Colorado on Saturday. Freshman K.T. Tu‘umalo (Punahou ’11) had three tackles and a pass breakup for the Buffaloes.
» Portland State tight end Kalua Noa (Kaiser ’09) had three catches for 26 yards, including a 22-yard touchdown, and safety Manoa Latu (Saint Louis ’08) made six tackles in a 36-10 win over Willamette (Ore.) on Saturday.
» Weber State quarterback Mike Hoke (Kamehameha ’08) finished 27-for-40 for 288 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 18 yards and another score in a 35-28 loss to Southern Utah on Saturday. Receiver Shaydon Kehano (Castle ’10) had six catches for 71 yards, defensive back Kela Marciel (‘Iolani ’09) had eight tackles and Ryan Eastman (Saint Louis ’08) had a tackle for loss for the Wildcats. Jared Ursua (Kealakehe ’04) had one catch for 15 yards for the Thunderbirds.
» Chapman junior Kali‘i Kunitomo (Konawaena ’09) had three catches for 95 yards, including a 77-yard touchdown, in a 30-21 loss to La Verne on Saturday.
» Occidental place-kicker Joshua Mun (Mid-Pacific ’08) converted four of five extra points and defensive lineman Casey Shibuya (Punahou ’09) made four solo tackles, including one for loss, in a 42-40 loss to Redlands on Saturday.
» Linfield (Ore.) defensive back Nate Dixon (Kapolei ’08) intercepted two passes, and Brent Shimabukuro (Saint Louis ’08) and Sparky Gonzalez (Saint Louis ’08) each contributed a sack to a 45-7 win over Pacific Lutheran on Saturday. Defensive back Sean McFadden (Punahou ’10) had four tackles and an interception for the Lutes.
» Western Oregon receiver Lucas Gonsalves (Saint Louis ’09) caught a 2-yard touchdown pass and finished with three receptions for 22 yards and a 15-yard punt return in a 40-24 win over Humboldt State on Saturday.
Women’s golf
» UCLA senior Stephanie Kono (Punahou ’08) tied for seventh place at 1-over 217 at the SEC/Pac-12 Challenge on Sunday in Knoxville, Tenn. Kono shot rounds of 69, 74 and 74. Oregon freshman Cassy Isagawa (Baldwin ’11) finished in a tie for 39th place at 7 over and Washington freshman Cyd Okino (Punahou ’11) finished in a tie for 53rd place at 10 over.
» Boise State junior Hayley Young (Mid-Pacific ’09) carded a 20-over 233 to finish in a tie for 19th place at the Memphis Fall Invitational on Tuesday. It was her third top-25 finish of the fall season and 10th of her career to rank ninth on the school’s all-time list.
Women’s soccer
» UCLA sophomore goalkeeper Alana Munger (Punahou ’09) made one save and didn’t allow a goal in the second half of a 2-0 victory over Arizona State on Sunday. Freshman midfielder Caprice Dydasco (Kamehameha ’11) played all 90 minutes and recorded one shot for the third-ranked Bruins.
» Pacific (Ore.) sophomore goalkeeper Kayla Davidson (Kealakehe ’10) made nine saves in her first career start to help the Boxers beat Whitman (Wash.) on Saturday.

» Brown sophomore Micah Baclig (‘Iolani ’10) plays one of the two prop positions for the Bears and helped Brown defeat Yale53-15 on Saturday.

» Oregon State senior outside hitter Dre Shaw (Kamehameha-Maui ’08) hit .354 with a team-high 22 kills, 10 digs, two solo blocks, two block assists and an ace in a five-set victory over Washington State on Saturday.
» Pacific (Calif.) senior Rebekah Torres (Kamehameha ’08) had 10 digs and a kill and Koala Matsuoka (Kamehameha ’09) added five digs in a three-set sweep of UC Irvine on Saturday.
» Kansas State junior Kuulei Kabalis (Kamehameha-Hawaii ’09) finished with a team-high 16 digs and five assists in a four-set loss to Oklahoma on Saturday.
» Long Beach State senior Lauren Minkel (‘Iolani ’08) had a match-high 19 digs and two assists in a five-set victory over Cal Poly on Friday.
» Siena (N.Y.) sophomore Taylor Akana (Kamehameha ’10) hit .379 and had eight of her match-high 25 kills in the first set of a four-game victory over Loyola (Md.) on Sunday. Akana added 11 digs and an ace and Lesli Akeo (Kamehameha ’09) finished with a match-high 27 digs and an assist for the Saints.
» Eastern Washington middle blocker Talia Fermantez (Kamehameha ’11) hit .385 with six kills and a dig in a four-set victory over Weber State on Saturday.
» Cal State Northridge outside hitter Mahina Haina (‘Iolani ’10) led the Matadors with 15 kills, hitting .324 with two digs and a block in a win over UC Riverside on Saturday.
» Amherst (Mass.) junior defensive specialist Kristin Keeno (Punahou ’09) earned all-tournament honors at the Hall of Fame Invitational over the weekend, helping the Jeffs win two of three games. Keeno had 23 digs in a win over Brandeis and 16 in a three-set loss to Wellesley on Saturday.
» Concordia (Ore.) senior Skyler Kamaka (Kamehameha ’08) hit .727 with eight kills and no errors in 11 swings, and added three digs, three block assists, two assists and two aces in a three-game sweep of Evergreen State on Friday.
