Just as one gallery shuts its doors — Bethel Street Gallery ends its nearly 10-year run in Chinatown on Nov. 9 — another opens at Bishop Square’s Pauahi Tower.
Andrew Rose Gallery, focusing on works of professional artists, presents its inaugural show, "Noreen Naughton: Intervals."
The show, which opens Friday and runs through Dec. 23, features new oils and drawings by the Kaneohe artist, a professor emeritus from Kapiolani Community College.
Andrew Rose Gallery features contemporary and vintage art from such local artists as Gaye Chan, Bradley Capello, Vince Hazen, Abigail Romanchak, Marcia Morse, Mamoru Sato and Yida Wang.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, or by appointment. Call 599-4400 or visit andrewrosegallery.com.
