Campbell (Kamehameha ’10) was named the Northwest Conference offensive student-athlete of the week on Tuesday after throwing for 387 yards and a school-record-tying five touchdowns Saturday to help the Boxers snap a 25-game losing streak with a 44-25 win over Puget Sound. It was Pacific’s first win since the final game of the 1990 season — the school discontinued football after the 1991 season, and reinstated it last year — and it came during the team’s final home game of the year. Receiver Jordan Fukumoto (Saint Louis ’10) had five catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns, and defensive back Chaz Bajet (Kamehameha ’10) led the defense with eight tackles. Linebacker Brandon Abiva (Aiea ’11) and defensive lineman Landon Aano (Kamehameha ’10) each recorded a sack, and Chris Santiago (Saint Louis ’10) had a tackle for loss, a fumble recovery and an interception for the Boxers. Linebacker Cody Petro-Sakuma (‘Iolani ’11) had a game-high 13 tackles and a sack, and Nate Adams (Hawaii Prep ’11) had seven tackles for the Loggers.

» Idaho’s Kama Bailey (Damien ’08) had a team-high four receptions for 32 yards and rushed for 34 yards on five carries in a 16-14 loss to Hawaii on Saturday. Linebacker Conrad Scheidt (Kamehameha ’09) had six tackles, including three for losses, two sacks and a forced fumble for the Vandals.
» Utah defensive end Tevita Finau (Kahuku ’06) had three sacks and five tackles, and V.J. Fehoko (Farrington ’10) was in on two tackles in a 27-8 win over Oregon State on Saturday.
» Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o (Punahou ’09) had 13 tackles, including 21⁄2 for losses, and half a sack in a 56-14 win over Navy on Saturday. Robby Toma (Punahou ’09) carried the ball once for 12 yards for the Irish, while Wave Ryder (Kamehameha ’10) made three tackles for the Midshipmen.

» Tulsa junior Kristina Merkle (Moanalua ’09) is tied for third place, two strokes off the lead, after the second round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational on Tuesday in Austin, Texas. Merkle followed a 2-under 70 on Monday with a 74 to sit at even par for the tournament. Pepperdine freshman Alina Ching (Punahou ’11) is tied for 28th place at 77-73—150, and Princeton junior Anna Jang (Punahou ’09) is tied for 74th at 83-80—163.
» Notre Dame freshman Kelli Oride (Kauai ’11) finished in a tie for 59th place at the Landfill Tradition Golf Tournament on Saturday, the Irish’s last of the fall season. Oride shot rounds of 80, 79 and 80 to finish at 23 over.
