Astronomers using the Keck Telescope on Mauna Kea took this photo of passing asteroid 2005 YU55 at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday as it was speeding away from Earth. The asteroid came within 201,000 miles of Earth -- inside the orbit of the moon -- as its closest point during the day Tuesday.
