» Weber State quarterback Mike Hoke (Kamehameha ’08) scored the game-winning touchdown on a 2-yard run with 26 seconds left to give the Wildcats a 34-31 win over Northern Arizona on Saturday. Hoke finished 11-for-19 for 178 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown to receiver Chase Nakamura (Baldwin ’09), who had two catches for 25 yards and also converted a 2-point conversion. Shaydon Kehano (Castle ’10) had three catches for 75 yards and Kela Marciel (‘Iolani ’09), Veteson Sauni (Kahuku ’10) and Bijon Mostoufi (Kaiser ’09) all had three tackles for the Wildcats. Defensive back Mana Purdy (Hawaii Prep ’08) made two tackles for the Lumberjacks.
» Notre Dame receiver Robby Toma (Punahou ’09) had a career-high seven receptions for 73 yards, and linebacker Manti Te’o (Punahou ’09) had four tackles in a 45-21 victory over Maryland on Saturday.
» Utah defensive end Tevita Finau (Kahuku ’06) had six tackles and Nai Fotu (Kahuku ’07) made two tackles, including a sack, in a 31-6 victory over UCLA on Saturday. Safety Dalton Hilliard (Punahou ’09) finished with six tackles for the Bruins.
» Oregon linebacker Keloni Kamalani (Kamehameha-Maui ’09) forced a Stanford fumble late in the fourth quarter of a 53-30 victory over the Cardinal on Saturday. Stanford defensive end Matt Masifilo (Campbell ’07) totaled seven tackles, including three for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble.
» Arizona defensive tackle Saneilia Fuimaono (Punahou ’10) made two solo tackles and Lamar De Rego (Kamehameha ’09) returned a punt for 7 yards in a 48-29 loss to Colorado on Saturday.
» Brigham Young safety Travis Uale (Kamehameha ’05) made five tackles and senior Simote Vea (Kahuku ’05) had two in a 42-7 win over Idaho on Saturday. Vandals running back Kama Bailey (Damien ’08) carried the ball 11 times for 34 yards and had four catches for 3 yards, while linebacker Conrad Scheidt (Kamehameha ’09) totaled seven tackles for Idaho.
» New Mexico State defensive end David Niumatalolo (Kahuku ’05) made seven tackles with two for losses and a pass breakup in a 48-45 win over Fresno State on Saturday.
» Navy senior Aaron Santiago (Kapolei ’07) ran the ball four times for 13 yards and safety Wave Ryder (Kamehameha ’10) assisted on two tackles in a 24-17 win over SMU on Saturday.
» Portland State safety Manoa Latu (Saint Louis ’08) had five tackles and a pass breakup and tight end Kalua Noa (Kaiser ’09) had an 8-yard reception in a 23-17 victory over Northern Colorado on Saturday.
» Linfield (Ore.) defensive end Brent Shimabukuro (Saint Louis ’08) made one of his two solo tackles for a loss and KeAlii Poomaihealani (Saint Louis ’10) recovered a fumble in a 37-0 win over Lewis & Clark on Saturday. The Wildcats clinched the Northwest Conference title and will host Cal Lutheran on Saturday in the NCAA Division III playoffs.
» Chapman (Calif.) receiver Kali‘i Kunitomo (Konawaena ’09) had seven catches for 153 yards with a long of 47 in a 19-13 loss to Redlands on Saturday. Kunitomo finished the year with 39 catches for 611 yards and seven touchdowns in nine games.
» Cornell (Iowa) College linebacker Geoffrey Miller (Punahou ’10) finished with eight tackles in a loss to Coe College on Saturday. Miller finished the year ranked sixth in the Iowa Conference with 52 solo tackles and eighth with 89 total tackles.

» Oregon State outside hitter Dre Shaw (Kamehameha-Maui ’08), who was honored as the only senior in the Beavers’ final regular-season home game, finished with eight kills, three digs and a solo block in a four-set loss to UCLA on Saturday.
» Texas senior Sydney Yogi (Punahou ’08) had a match-high 19 digs, four assists and an ace and sophomore Sarah Palmer (Hawaii Baptist ’10) had 10 digs and an assist in a four-set victory over Kansas State on Saturday. Junior Kuulei Kabalis (Kamehameha-Hawaii ’09) had a team-high 16 digs for the Wildcats.
» Long Beach State senior Lauren Minkel (‘Iolani ’08) had 19 digs to move into second place on the school’s all-time list with 1,584 in a four-set victory over UC Davis on Saturday.
» Washington (Mo.) junior Kelly Pang was named to the AVCA Division III All-Central Regional team last week. Pang finished the season with 561 digs, averaging 5.15 per set. Linfield (Ore.) senior Samantha Lau (St. Francis ’08) and Whitworth (Wash.) senior Ka‘imi Rocha (Seabury Hall ’08) were named to the All-West Regional team. Lau, also named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District Volleyball team, led the Northwest Conference with 582 digs, averaging 5.94 per set. Rocha, named to the team for the second year in a row, led the NWC in points per set (4.3), kills (331) and kills per set (3.68). Rocha had 16 kills and sister Ka‘imi Rocha (Seabury Hall ’08) had 11 kills and was in on six blocks in a five-set loss to Cal Lutheran in an NCAA Division III West Regional game Friday.
» Amherst (Mass.) junior Kristin Keeno (Punahou ’09) was named to the Capital One Academic All-District first team on Thursday. Keeno finished first in the NESCAC with 6.23 digs per set, upping her career total to 861.
» New Haven (Conn.) setter Kaulana Ane (Kamehameha-Maui ’11) was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Rookie Team last Wednesday. Ane recorded 1.08 kills, 1.69 assists and 2.40 digs per set this season, helping the Chargers earn the No. 1 seed in the East region of the NCAA Division II championships.
» Western Oregon freshman LesLyne Satele (Punahou ’11) had a match-high 44 assists and seven digs to help the Wolves finish the regular season with a four-set victory over Alaska Anchorage on Saturday.

» Santa Clara junior midfielder Meleana Shim (Kamehameha ’09) had three of the Broncos’ eight shots on goal and played all 110 minutes of a shootout loss to California in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday. The game was tied 1-1 after two overtime periods before the Golden Bears won 4-3 on penalty kicks. Shim played in all 21 matches this year, totaling four goals and tying a team-high with four assists.
» Utah State forward Mari Miyashiro (Mililani ’10) played in 67 minutes of the Aggies’ 2-1 loss to Auburn in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday. Utah State finished with a school-best 15-5-2 record. Miyashiro started 16 of the 17 games she played in, scoring three goals.
» Pepperdine freshman Ally Holtz (Punahou ’11) played as a reserve, but did not record an official statistic in a 1-0 loss to Long Beach State in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday. Holtz started one of the 19 matches she played in this year, finishing with two goals and an assist.
» UCLA freshman Caprice Dydasco (Kamehameha ’11) played all 90 minutes of the Bruins’ 1-0 victory over New Mexico on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA tournament. UCLA advanced to play San Diego on Friday.
» Harvard midfielder Aisha Price (Punahou ’09) started and played 44 minutes, recording a shot, in a 3-0 loss to Boston University in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday. Price started in five of 18 games this year, totaling a goal and two assists.
» Azusa Pacific freshman Kendra Trifonovitch (Punahou ’11) converted her penalty kick in a shootout to help the Cougars beat Point Loma Nazarene in the Golden State Athletic Conference tournament championship game on Friday. Logan Chan (Sacred Hearts ’11) started for Azusa Pacific and recorded a shot on goal in a 0-0 tie that the Cougars won 4-2 on penalty kicks.

» Louisville junior defender Brock Granger (‘Iolani ’09) played all 90 minutes of a 1-0 loss to Connecticut in the semifinals of the Big East tournament on Friday. The Cardinals earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as a No. 12 seed and received a first-round bye. They will play the winner between Bradley and Loyola-Chicago on Sunday.
» Air Force forward Zane Dydasco (Kamehameha ’08) played 55 minutes and recorded two shots in a 1-0 overtime loss to Cal State Bakersfield in the semifinals of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament on Friday. Dydasco played in 15 games this season, totaling two goals and an assist.

» UNLV senior forward Jamie Smith (‘Iolani ’08) posted a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds with two blocks to help the Rebels upset Iowa 69-59 in the championship game of the Iowa Hawkeye Challenge on Sunday.

» Rice sophomore Farah Madanay (Punahou ’09) finished in 27th place with a time of 21 minutes, 52.2 seconds in the 6K race at the NCAA Division I South Central Regional cross country championships on Saturday.
» Willamette (Ore.) junior Amanda Tamanaha (St. Andrew’s Priory ’09) placed 45th with a time of 23:13.19 and Occidental (Calif.) sophomore Jenna Wong (‘Iolani ’10) finished in 46th place with a time of 23:14.82 in the 6K run at the NCAA Division III West Regional cross country championships on Saturday.

» Pacific (Ore.) freshman Kramer Ichimura (Mililani ’11) finished second in the 200 freestyle (1:48.76) and 100 butterfly (53.84) in a dual meet against Whitman (Wash.) on Sunday.
» La Verne sophomore Marc Okimura (Punahou ’11) finished fifth overall in the Bulldog Pentathlon on Sunday, finishing first in the 100 breaststroke and posting a top-10 finish in the 100 butterfly.
