COURTESY STEVE BUTALA
If any further proof was needed that American comfort food spans the globe, Steve Butala has the evidence. On a trip to Cambodia, the Kailua resident snapped this photo of two Buddhist Monks walking past the Angkor Honolulu restaurant, where the menu advertises burgers, pasta and Khmer food. How Honolulu figures into the mix is anyone’s guess. Butala found the restaurant in Siem Reap while traveling with his friend Ron Salz.
