Here are the synopses of this week’s Korean drama shows:
“My Love By My Side”
Episodes 39 and 40
Today, 6:45 p.m.: Mi-sol is working on a show that finds people from the past. A famous chef from America wants to find Mrs. Kong, so Mi-sol starts looking for her. Soryong goes to Mrs. Kong to ask about his parents, but all she can tell him is that they are dead and he has an aunt. Mi-sol agrees to let Seok-bin see Yong-woong once a week as long as he calls ahead.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Mi-sol’s superiors are impressed after she does the news while saving a baby. She is asked to audition for the anchorwoman job and gets it. Jung-ja is very nervous about Mi-sol’s search for Mrs. Kong. So she puts up a post on the bulletin board at Mi-sol’s company about Yong-woong and Mi-sol’s past. Mi-sol loses her job and is forced to take a leave of absence.
“Warrior Baek Dong Su”
Episodes 27 and 28
Monday, 7:45 p.m.: In-ju gathers warriors to kill Dong-su. Dong-su fights all of them but lets In-ju go. Jin-ju and others can’t understand why he’d let someone who tried to kill him go free.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Dong-su tries to enter the palace of the Crown Prince but the gatekeepers stand in his way. He climbs the wall but gets caught. Yeo-woon does not listen to Hong Dae-ju and helps Dong-su.
“Live in Style”
Episodes 7 and 8
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: No-ra and Ki-han run away from home and head to Sokcho. Sung-ae and Ah-ra find their home in shambles. Yong-pal urges Sung-ae to get surgery, but she says she’ll wait until all her children are married. After Sung-ae collapses, her children find out she has cancer.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Ah-ra calls No-ra to tell her their mother has cancer, but she gets Ki-han instead. Ki-han tells No-ra about Sung-ae’s cancer but she doesn’t believe him.
“Tree with Deep Roots”
Episodes 5 and 6
Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Mu-hyul is unhappy with Chae-yoon’s appointment as the investigator of the murder case. He conveys his opinion to the king, but the king tells him to help Chae-yoon. Mu-hyul sees a scar on Chae-yoon’s arm and realizes he is the one who inflicted that wound.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Mu-hyul realizes the true identity of Ttol-bok and comes running to find him talking to Yi Do. Chae-yoon keeps a poison needle with him at all times, ready to kill the king when he has a chance.
