Tevita Aholelei, 21, was charged with manslaughter and was being held on $100,000 bail. His next court date is Friday.

Niusini never regained consciousness. He died at the Queen’s Medical Center about an hour later and was identified by his wife.
One woman reported seeing Aholelei punch Niusini unprovoked. She said she knew both men for several years. Another woman said she saw Aholelei punch Niusini with his right fist and heard a loud sound when Niusini hit his head on the ground. Both women identified Aholelei in a photograph.
