President Barack Obama spent Day 6 of his Windward Oahu holiday at a different golf course, but with familiar playing partners.
The president and his golf party arrived at Ko‘olau Golf Club just before noon Wednesday. The course is at the base of the Koolau Range and is billed as one of Hawaii’s most difficult.
The president typically plays at the Kaneohe Klipper course on Marine Corps Base Hawaii when in Hawaii. That’s where he played his first two rounds of golf earlier in the trip.
On other vacations, Obama has also golfed at the Mid-Pacific Country Club, Luana Hills and at Olomana, all in Kailua not far from his vacation rental.
Obama played with Hawaii friends Mike Ramos, Greg Orme and Bobby Titcomb, the same men he played with on Monday at the Klipper course.
Obama and his family are expected to remain in Hawaii until shortly after New Year’s Day.
The president and first lady Michelle Obama had dinner with friends at Alan Wong’s in McCully about 8 p.m.
