Baby girl born at Tripler earns title of state’s first birth of 2012

Faith Erin Fielden slept in her mother, Erin Fielden’s, arms Sunday at Tripler Army Medical Center. Faith was Hawaii’s first baby born in 2012, weighing in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and measuring 20.5 inches long. At right is father Capt. Aaron Fielden, an Army doctor who interns at Tripler.
