University of Hawaii diver Douglas Cohen won the men’s 1-meter, and Daniella Nero won the women’s 3-meter dive during the second day of the Hawaii Diving Invitational Friday at Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
Both Cohen and Nero finished first for the second straight day. Cohen scored a 325.55 to finish ahead of UH’S Luke Hayes (285.40). Cohen and Hayes also finished No. 1 and No. 2 in Thursday’s 3-meter dive. Mike Mosca of Harvard took third (277.10). Nero scored a 293.25 to finish ahead of Houston’s Julia Lonnegren (279.85).
The invitational, which features divers from Harvard, Drury and Nevada, ends today with the platform event, which begins at 1 p.m.
