Hawaiian, ANA extend booking agreement
Hawaiian Airlines and ANA, the largest carrier in Japan, have expanded their code-sharing agreement to include flights in Japan and Hawaii and mileage-earning benefits for members of their frequent-flier programs.
Starting Thursday, ANA customers will be able to book connecting flights on Hawaiian between Honolulu and Kona, Lihue, Hilo and Kahului through ANA, the airlines announced Monday.
In addition, Hawaiian will place its flight code on ANA-operated flights between Tokyo’s Haneda International Airport and Honolulu, as well as flights that connect to Hawaiian’s daily Haneda service from Chitose, Osaka (Itami), Osaka (Kansai), Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Oita, Kagoshima and Okinawa, enabling its customers to book these flights directly through Hawaiian.
ANA and Hawaiian started a joint frequent-flier program on Dec. 28.

Zappos customers warned of breach
CHICAGO » Online retailer Zappos.com and its discount affiliate, 6pm.com, disclosed Sunday a data breach that compromised customer account information such as billing addresses and the last four digits of credit card numbers.
The security problem did not affect "critical credit card and other payment data," Zappos Chief Executive Tony Hsieh wrote in an employee email that was posted on the company blog on Sunday.
Hsieh explained that the company was "the victim of a cyber-attack by a criminal who gained access to parts of our internal network and systems through one of our servers in Kentucky."
The retailer has more than 24 million customer accounts in its database, according to Hsieh’s memo, and the company is notifying customers of the data breach via email. It has canceled shoppers’ passwords, so they must create new ones to access their accounts.
