Remains found near H-1 viaduct examined
Honolulu medical examiners are examining the skeletal remains of a person found by a homeless man Monday in the Nimitz Highway area near the H-1 viaduct.
Police said a homeless man found the remains under a roadway about 9 a.m. There were no suspicious circumstances or obvious signs of foul play, police said.
Police said it does not appear the remains are ancient, and that they may be that of a homeless person who lived in the area.
