Hawaii Pacific downs Pacific in baseball

Derek Nakasato homered among his three hits to lead Hawaii Pacific to a 10-6 win over Pacific University on Sunday in baseball at Hans L’Orange Park.

Bryson Gauthe earned the win in relief for the Sea Warriors (7-0).

Kevin Schwartz had three hits for the Boxers (1-6).

UH sailors take fifth in Florida regatta

The Hawaii women’s sailing team placed fifth at the South Florida Intersectional on Sunday.

UH’s Madeline Kennedy and Lani Johnson finished sixth with 120 points in the A division.

Hawaii’s Hanne Nagatani, Lindsay Stewart and Cienna Patmont took fourth in the B division with 170 points.

HPU tennis teams earn wins over UHH

The Hawaii Pacific men’s tennis team beat host Hawaii-Hilo 6-3 on Sunday. In the women’s match, HPU won 9-0.
