Large blade used in attack downtown
Police arrested a homeless man for investigation of attempted murder Wednesday after he allegedly hit another homeless man with a meat cleaver at a park downtown.
The incident happened about 12:50 p.m. at Kamamalu Park near Queen Emma Street. The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in stable condition.
