Hawaii Pacific sweeps Academy of Art

Keila Elderts had two hits and drove in two runs to lead Hawaii Pacific to a 7-4 softball win in the first game of a doubleheader sweep of Academy of Art on Sunday at Okita Field.

Breanne Patton went the distance to earn the win for the Sea Warriors (15-5, 9-1 Pacific West Conference).

Nicole Smith had three hits to lead the Urban Knights (9-18, 5-7).

In the second game, Nicole Morrow drove in three runs for Hawaii Pacific in a 9-3 win.

Dixie State takes 2 from Hawaii-Hilo

Tyson Littlewood drove in three runs and Cedric Johnson homered to lead Dixie State to a 10-4 victory in the first game of a baseball doubleheader sweep of Hawaii-Hilo in St. George, Utah, on Sunday.

Jordan Murai and Austin Cusack had two hits each to lead the Vulcans (4-19, 1-13 Pacific West Conference).

In the second game, Garrett Nash homered and drove in five runs and Colton Yack went 4-for-4 with five RBIs to power the Red Storm (14-6, 10-4) to a 14-1 win.

Dixie State outhit Hawaii-Hilo 16-3 in the second game.
