Hula troupe from Pauoa hits competition’s summit

    20120414-8569 MMF WINNERS These are winners that were announced for the 2012 Merrie Monarch Festival competition. Halau o ke 'A'ali'i Ku Makani (Manu'aikohana Boyd) took 1st in Wahine Kahiko and Wahine Overall and 2nd in Overall Winner. Halau Mohala 'Ilima (Mapuana de Silva) took 1st in Wahine Auana and 2nd in Wahine Overall. Halau I Ka Wekiu (Karl Veto Baker & Michael Casupang) took 1st in in both the Kane Kahiko and Auana, Kane Overall and was the Overall Winner.
