Hawaii will have two 18-hole local qualifiers for this year’s U.S. Open — May 12 at King Kamehameha on Maui and May 15 at The Club at Hokulia. Registration is open at usga.org. The entry deadline is Wednesday at 11 a.m.
The USGA conducts 111 local qualifiers for the U.S. Open. Top qualifiers from each advance to one of 11 36-hole sectional qualifiers. At least one from each sectional qualifier advances to the U.S. Open, June 14-17 at The Olympic Club in San Francisco.
