Woman kidnapped and robbed
A 39-year-old woman was kidnapped at gunpoint in her car with her child in the back seat Wednesday afternoon in Kailua, police said.
The gunman got into the woman’s car at Kailua Beach Park just before 5 p.m. and showed her a handgun, police said. The man told the woman to drive and ordered her to give him her purse. After taking the purse, the robber fled, police said.
Police said the woman’s child, reportedly about 18 months old, was in the car at the time.
Police described the robber as 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build and weighing about 170 pounds. He had a beard and wore a gray baseball cap, a T-shirt and shorts.
Man robbed and assaulted
A woman was arrested and two men are being sought as suspects in the robbery and assault of a man Wednesday night in Waianae.
Police said the woman, 22, and two men approached a man, 46, at 9:39 p.m. and demanded that he hand over his belongings. The victim surrendered the contents of his pockets, police said.
The woman, of a Lualualei Valley address, was arrested on suspicion of one count of second-degree robbery at Kulaaupuni Street in Maili.
Beating victim unresponsive
Honolulu police are seeking witnesses to the assault of a homeless man March 31 in Kapalama.
Police said the man regularly sleeps in front of businesses at 1013 N. King St., across the street from the Kalihi-Palama Health Center.
Police said that on March 31 a witness found the man unconscious and with numerous injuries. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he has remained unresponsive, police said.

Woman, 55, is accused of identity theft
Hawaii County police have charged a Waikoloa woman who is accused of stealing the identity of a visiting 91-year-old relative, along with jewelry and cash.
Janice Feeney, 55, was charged Wednesday with identity theft, second- and fourth-degree theft, theft of a credit card, fraudulent use of a credit card, unauthorized possession of personal information, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $14,000.
Police responded Monday to a report that Feeney had stolen jewelry and cash from the relative from California. Police declined to say how they are related.
When officers tried to arrest Feeney, who has no permanent address, she resisted arrest and struck one of them in the chest, police said. The officer did not need medical attention.
Kapoho man arrested after 3 are stabbed
A 43-year-old Kapoho man was arrested after three people were stabbed, two with serious injuries, Wednesday night in Kapoho, Hawaii County police said.
Officers responding to an 11:11 p.m. call to a home near the mile 7 marker on Route 132 found a 28-year-old man with a severe head wound and cuts, a 25-year-old woman with a severe cut on her upper body, and a 45-year-old woman with a minor injury, police said. All are from Kapoho.
The man and younger woman were taken to Hilo Medical Center, where they underwent surgery and were listed in serious condition.
