Man dies from injuries after Makiki fight
A 28-year-old man died Sunday from brain injuries he sustained in a March 25 assault in Makiki, police said.
Police have not yet arrested a 32-year-old man suspected in the incident.
Police said the two men were arguing in a parking lot when the older man assaulted the younger man. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at midnight Sunday, police said.
Police on Monday reclassified the case from assault to second-degree murder.
