Gala Brown, 11, left, her fractured right leg immobilized with metal bars, and sister, Freya, 9, middle, whose legs are broken, remain in wheelchairs due to the injuries they suffered when a car slammed into them while they were sitting at a Makaha bus stop. Their mother, Charesse, still experiences pain from a leg injury suffered in the accident; youngest sister Cecile, 9 months old, was also at the bus stop but escaped injury. The March 28 crash killed their brother Ashton, 4.
