Designer debuts Kiki Beach line
Jewelry designer Marylea Conrad is launching her newest line, Kiki Beach by Ki-ele, in time for Mother’s Day.
Simplicity and affordability — with prices below $25 — are key to her beach-chic jewelry, which has an organic and carefree boho vibe perfect for the summer days ahead. The bracelets, bangles and necklaces can be worn alone or in layers.
Kiki Beach is available at Town & Country Surf at Windward Mall, Pearlridge and Waikiki, and Nuinani boutique in Kailua.
Gift loved ones with custom jewelry
If you’re still shopping for a gift for Mother’s Day or the soon-to-be grad in your life, try Cottage by the Sea at Ward Warehouse, where you can design a necklace, pair of earrings or other piece at the Jewelry Bar.
Choose from silver, gold-filled or gold chains, pick gemstones, shells and charms, and depending on how busy staffers are, they can often finish the piece on the spot.
Sterling-silver hoop earrings are $40 to $48, to which you can add North Shore cone shells ($14.50 each) and cowries ($14), carnelian flower beads ($8), amethyst drops ($16.50) or aqua quartz ($14.50).
If you’re creatively challenged, there’s finished jewelry to choose from as well. Call 591-9811.
