Body of Hawaii island fisherman is found
NAALEHU, Hawaii » The body of a missing Hawaii island fisherman has been found.
The Coast Guard and the Hawaii County Fire Department began searching for 30-year-old Ceasare Moses on Saturday afternoon. The Coast Guard said he was retrieving his nets near Hawaii island’s South Point when he was swept out to sea.
Lt. Leigh Cotterell said the Coast Guard received word from the Fire Department that Moses’ body was found off South Point early Monday.
The aerial and ocean search covered more than 1,500 square miles.
2 men use gun to rob victim in Makiki
Police were looking for two men who robbed a 72-year-old man at gunpoint Sunday night in Makiki.
Police said the suspects, one of them in his 20s and another in his 30s, approached the victim as he was leaving his car in Makiki just after 8 p.m.
Police said the men threatened the victim with a handgun before running off with his property.
