1 pedestrian is killed, another hurt by car in Wahiawa
A pedestrian was killed late Saturday and another critically injured when they were hit by car in Wahiawa.
The pedestrians, a man and woman, had been arguing on the grass median and ran into the road, police said.
A 31-year-old, male pedestrian from Wahiawa was taken to Wahiawa General Hospital and pronounced dead following the accident, officials reported.
A woman pedestrian, 28, also of Wahiawa, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition.

Police closed Wilikina Drive near the H-2 onramp to investigate.
Police said the accident occurred at 11:23 p.m. Saturday when a 34-year old man driving a 2006 grey Nissan collided with the two pedestrians.
The 34-year-old driver, of Honolulu, was not injured, and police said speed, drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash.
