Shooting fair at Koko Head
Archery, cowboy firearms and big-game rifles are among the weapons available for use at this weekend’s 19th Shooting Sports Fair at the Koko Head Shooting Complex.
The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Safety briefings, registration and scrip for the various weapons are at the main tent. Eye protection is required. Participants can bring their own or purchase at the fair. Information: khsc.info.
Low hosts basketball clinic
Former ‘Iolani School and Washington State standout Derrick Low will hold his fouth Hawaii Raiders Basketball Clinic June 29-30 at McKinley High gym.
The clinic is open to boys and girls, ages 6-17. Sessions for beginners are from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 29 and 9 a.m. to noon June 30. Sessions for advanced players are 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. June 29 and noon to 3 p.m. June 30.
The cost is $100 and includes sports bag, water bottle and awards. The registration deadline is June 27.

Wait list for Molokai paddleboard race
The popular Molokai-2-Oahu Paddleboard World Championships, scheduled for July 29, is accepting wait-list entries only. Organizers said the event reached its field capacity of 170 earlier this week, the quickest the 32-mile race has sold out in its 16-year history.
