Lopes, Miano are QB Club speakers
Former Chaminade basketball coach Merv Lopes and first-year Kaiser High football coach Rich Miano will be the Honolulu Quarterback Club’s featured speakers Monday at the Maple Garden restaurant.

Miano, a former University of Hawaii associate head coach, has returned to coach at his alma mater. He played safety for UH and for 11 years in the NFL. Miano is a co-founder of Hawaii Speed and Quickness.
The Maple Garden restaurant is located at 909 Isenberg St., directly across Old Stadium Park. The public is welcome. Lunch is $15. The lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at noon.
