Koa goods store offers covers for iPads

Martin & MacArthur has unveiled its iKoa cover ($245) for the iPad, available at its stores at Ala Moana Center, Hilton Hawaiian Village and the Sheraton Waikiki as well as online at www.MartinandMacArthur.com.

The cover is made from Big Island curly koa, combined with leather accents in black, brown, brick red, burnt orange or magenta.

The cover will be available at the other seven Martin & MacArthur stores in Hawaii later this month.

Department store hosts fall shows

Santiago Gonzalez, president of Nancy Gonzalez, will host a trunk show of the brand’s fall 2012 collection of handbags made from exotic skins from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Neiman Marcus’ designer handbags section.

Other events in advance of the fall season include a Giorgio Armani trunk show of pieces from the designer’s runway collection in designer sportswear and a Guerlain event in cosmetics, both during store hours Friday and Saturday. Call 951-8887.
