Vacation property management firm Castle Resorts & Hotels has added two Kauai properties to its portfolio of hotels and condominiums.
The Honolulu-based company said it began managing the 57-unit Kauai Kailani and the 80-unit Mokihana of Kauai Friday along with Mokihana’s Bull Shed Restaurant.
The additions increase Castle’s management portfolio to 21 properties in Hawaii, Saipan and New Zealand.
Castle is a subsidiary of Florida-based Castle Group Inc., which on Tuesday reported earning a profit of $216,989 in the second quarter on $5.8 million in revenue.
A resurgence in Hawaii and New Zealand tourism helped the company improve earnings from a year-earlier loss of $743,015 on revenue of $6 million, the company said in the report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
