Coach Norm Chow said he is pleased with the progress of punter Alex Dunnachie and backup quarterback Cayman Shutter.
Both will miss an undetermined number of games after pleading no contest to DUI charges. Both have been allowed to practice.
“Shutter and Dunnachie are doing an outstanding job on making sure they do things the right way and endearing themselves back to the team,” Chow said. “They’re contributing and working hard. Both of them expressed remorse. They made a bad choice. But they’ve been doing nothing but positive things since. It’s been nice to see.”
