TV’s makeover man to give tips on looks at fashion show

Meet "What Not to Wear" co-host Clinton Kelly when the makeover master appears at Macy’s Ala Moana to present a "Best of Fall" fashion show, beginning 2 p.m. Saturday.

An advocate for dressing women of every shape and size in the most flattering way, Kelly’s presentation will showcase standout styles for all body types.

Experts will also be on hand to help customers shop and choose garments with the perfect fit. Estée Lauder will complete the look with a makeover for fall. Shoppers who buy women’s clothing or Estée Lauder products for $100 or more will receive a copy of Kelly’s book, "Oh No She Didn’t!" and have a chance for an autograph.

Ghost pendants with new design arrive for Halloween

Ghost pendants have returned to Q-pot. at Ala Moana Center, which welcomes its 2012 Halloween Collection this month.

The Halloween ghost "Q" sold out early last year. This time the pendant appears with a bone in its stomach. Necklaces are $199.

Other introductions are a Jack o’ Lantern macaron necklace ($101), cellphone straps ($63) and purse charms ($79), and baby ghost ($60) and top hat ($62) earphone charms. Shoppers who buy $120 or more in goods will receive a small ghost pen light.

Discounts offered for shoppers in black and silver

Catherine’s Closet will host a First Friday trunk show of Silpada sterling silver jewelry, one-of-a-kind vintage treasures and a costume collection for Halloween planning.

Shoppers dressed in silver and black will get 10 percent off their purchases during the event.
