Robinsons to host softball clinic
Former University of Hawaii softball standouts Kate and Sarah Robinson will run a youth clinic for corner infielders Saturday and Sunday at Moanalua High School.
The "At the Corners" clinic will focus on fundamentals of playing first and third base. A session for players ages 12 and under is set for Saturday, with a clinic for players ages 13-18 on Sunday. The two-hour clinics start at 9 a.m. both days.
Kate Robinson was an All-America pitcher/first baseman for the Rainbow Wahine from 2004 to ’08 and played professionally in the U.S. and in Europe. Her sister, Sarah, was named a first-team All-Western Athletic Conference third baseman last spring.
The cost is $40. To register, call 282-0176 or email katemr08@gmail.com. More information is available at robinsonsoftballtraining.com.
