Savaiinaea, a Punahou senior who has committed to Stanford, ranks with this year’s 12 high school semifinalists.
Also Monday, Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota, a former Saint Louis School standout, was named one of 16 semifinalists for the Davey O’Brien Award, given annually to the nation’s top quarterback.
