Haskins is conference player of the week
Chaminade senior forward De’Andre Haskins was named the conference’s men’s basketball player of the week.
Haskins led the Silverswords to a 2-0 week by averaging 21.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
He shot 52 percent from the field in the wins.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Seasiders move up to fifth in poll
Brigham Young-Hawaii, riding a 19-match Division II winning streak into the postseason, moved up three spots into a tie for fifth place in the AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 poll announced Monday.
The Seasiders (21-3) received two first-place votes and shared fifth place with Minnesota Duluth (27-3). BYUH was swept by Hawaii, No. 7 in the Division I poll, last Thursday.
The Seasiders have put in a bid to host the D-II West Regional, Nov. 29-Dec. 2. They are ranked No. 1 in the region.
