Thanksgiving Day full of activities
Five “Turkey Trots” on four islands and a triathlon on the Big Island are on the menu Thanksgiving Day.
The Thanksgiving Triathlon begins at 7 a.m. at Kailua-Kona Pier. The course consists of a 1⁄3-mile swim, 16-mile bike ride and 2-mile run. For information, call 989-2580.
Also on the Big Island, there are two runs, one in Hilo and one in Kailua-Kona. The 5K Turkey Trot Hilo starts at 7:30 a.m. at Coconut Island (bigislandrunners.com).
The Peaman’s Wobble Gobble, a 6-mile run, starts at 8 a.m. on Lako Street. For information, call 938-2296.
The Predict-Your-Time Turkey Trot on Oahu is a 10-miler at 7 a.m. at Kapiolani Park (honolulumarathon.org).
Three distances are offered on Maui, all starting at 7 a.m. at Rice Park in Kula. The courses are 2.6, 8.2 and 16 miles. For information, call 214-8911.
The Kauai Turkey Trot starts at 7:30 a.m. at Kapaa Beach Park. The courses are 5K and 10K (kauaipath.org).
Food drive at judo tournament
The 50th State Judo Association is holding a canned food drive in conjunction with Sunday’s Mililani Seidokan Judo Club tournament at Salt Lake District Park. All donations will go to the Hawaii Food Bank. Competition begins at 8:30 a.m.

Futsal soccer tourney offers prize money
The Dec. 30 Winter Shootout Futsal Tournament, a5-on-5 grass soccer tournament, will award $1,000 to the winning team in the adult premier division. The event at Central Oahu Regional Park is open to youth and adult teams and sponsored by Hawaii Street Soccer.
