More than 10 million watch latest ‘Five-0’ episode

"Hawaii Five-0" drew its largest audience of the season Monday night, according to preliminary Nielsen ratings information released by CBS.

The show’s eighth episode was seen by 10.11 million viewers, far surpassing audiences that have hovered in the 7 million-to-8 million viewer range since the season premiere. Until this week that premiere was the high point: 9.24 million viewers.

Chief rival "Castle," which airs on ABC, was not on. In its place, ABC aired an episode of the reality show "Extreme Makeover," which finished third with 5.24 million viewers. The hour’s only other scripted drama, NBC’s "Revolution," drew 8.7 million viewers.

But "Five-0" finished behind "Revolution" among adults 18-49. "Five-0" drew 2.3 percent of the total viewing audience and 6 percent of those watching TV at the time, CBS said. "Revolution" drew 2.3 percent of the total viewing audience and 9 percent of those watching TV.

CBS also noted that "Five-0" remains one of its top shows when digital recording devices are factored into the ratings. The show has averaged a boost of 3 million viewers through its Nov. 5 episode.
