4 sought as suspects in Waikiki stabbing

Police were searching Sunday for four suspects in an early morning stabbing in Waikiki.

The suspects, four men in their 20s, allegedly attacked a 19-year-old man at about 3 a.m. and stabbed the man’s 19-year-old friend when the second man tried to intervene, police said.

Paramedics took the victim to the hospital in serious condition with two stab wounds.

The suspects fled.

They are wanted for suspicion of attempted second-degree murder and third-degree assault.
