Reyn Spooner kicks off New Year with snake shirt

The New Year is around the corner, and Reyn Spooner is getting a jump on 2013 with the introduction of its Year of the Snake aloha shirt with artwork by Hawaii island artist Eddy Y.

The limited-edition shirt, part of Reyn Spooner’s Classic Collection, features a stylized image of the Chinese zodiac character and is available at all Reyn Spooner retail stores and online at reyn­spooner.com. for $89.

For those in Christmas shopping mode, Reyn Spooner has released a series of limited-edition, reverse-print aloha shirts with four vintage Eddy Y prints from the company’s Modern Collection.

The slimmer-cut vintage shirts with tikis, surfing woodies and hula dancers are $105 at the Reyn Spooner store at Ala Moana Center.
